Most people who come across you don’t buy.
In one of my first consulting gigs I worked with a company who issued dozens of quotes a day.
Customers would call, ask for a quote and only a small percentage took up the offer.
This company wanted to be able to quote and get orders online.
But issuing more quotes wasn’t going to guarantee proportionally more business.
When I asked what happened to the un-fulfilled quotes they pointed to a pile on the desk.
I persuaded the general manager to put 2 people in a room and call all the quotes who hadn’t bought.
Within 2 days they closed $78,000 of new business.
The reasons people don’t buy are many and varied.
They aren’t the primary decision maker, the timing isn’t right, they need to know more before committing.
Not having a follow up system of any form let’s these prospective customers slip through the cracks.
Many of them will buy – they just need to be asked.
Are you sitting on a pile of prospects that you could turn into customers?
All you need to do is ask – Why didn’t you buy?
If you want a digital system mean that no one slips through the cracks we need to speak:
