Millions of people have been consuming pink salt.
Table salt is 97% Sodium Chloride and is chemically produced, bleached and devoid of nutrients.
This type of salt is not naturally occurring. When salt-water fish are placed in salt water made with table salt they die.
It is also devoid of the many trace minerals that the body needs so it is a wise decision to avoid it.
But what to do?
Too much salt = bad
Too little salt = bad
Many think the answer is Himalayan Sea Salt.
The claim is it contains “84 trace minerals that promote health and well being” but the science doesn’t neccesarily back it up.
Yet millions of people swear by it and feel better consuming it.
A small group rail agains’t it: “The Science! The Science!”
People who do this often pride themselves on being logical and analytical. They don’t do things that don’t have solid evidence.
But the world isn’t black and white and they’re screwing themselves without knowing it.
Because when you look for a reason something doesn’t work. You will always find it.
You can find ‘evidence’ of both sides of every decision.
But it’s only by committing to something and believing it will work do results come.
The core characteristic of every successful entrepreneur I know is delusional optimism. They believe something will work when many others don’t.
The science doesn’t support the claims of Himalayan Sea Salt but the science also doesn’t say it’s bad for you.
Millions of people believe in the benefits. That’s all that matters.
If you believe in your business and its ability to fuel your lifestyle. Commit to making it better in every single way.
If you don’t believe then find someone who can inject belief or quit. The hard times will be too hard for you to bear.
My calendar is open to believers and those looking for it. Doubters need not apply.
