I didn’t say it easy but it is simple.
Growing a services business is often perceived as adding things that are missing.
In my experience the most powerful elements are already present in a good business.
A good product and someone willing to put themselves out there.
Before I give you the process I will state this the fastest but I don’t think it’s the optimal to way to do it. I speak from experience as this is the method I used to grow my first million dollar product. If cash is your main driver then this is the way.
First step
Second step. Master a traffic source. Facebook. LinkedIn. Google. Cold outreach. It doesn’t really matter what it is. It needs to be consistent and costs need to be predictable. You need eyeballs and a way to attract someone towards you.
Three. Use content to qualify. Video is optimal. You need to prove you understand the problem or desired outcome your customer wants. You also need to push away less than ideal prospects and attract the perfect ones.
Four. Get them on the phone. A 30-45 minute structured call is all you need. High quality questions that get to the core drivers of why someone makes decisions.
Five. Sell them a product that is between $5000 and $10000. At this stage it doesn’t matter if it’s one time or recurring. It needs to be high ticket and high value.
Six. Deliver. You or someone else. With this method you won’t have a ton of time to work on delivery as you’ll be on the phone for 60% of a standard working week. Outsource delivery or having leveraged delivery is key here.
These 6 steps will get you past $1m a year.
it won’t be easy. You’ll spend a lot of time selling and about 25% of your revenue on marketing but you’ll get there if you want it.
