Yesterday’s note about collecting overwhelming evidence struck a chord with a number of you.
A lot asked variations of the same question.
Paula asks:
“This is great James, but how to you get the overwhelming evidence to start with. We know it easy to attract customers when 2000 people have used your product and say it is awesome. Whats the key to getting the first 200??”
Good question.
It’s hard to have a massive number of reviews and testimonials without a massive number of sales.
But bear in mind trust in the brand and business is just as important as trust in the individual product.
So I recommend starting with a simple survey to everyone you have previously sold to.
And there are 3 key components to this survey to collect overwhelming evidence that actually makes sales.
Because that’s what this is all about right?
Making more sales with what the traffic and customers you’ve already got.
(I also recommend incentivising surveys to dramatically boost responses)
This framework is effective whether you sell products or services.
I’ve given this away before.
Because it works. And I like simple stuff that works.
